Mario Badescu's Drying Lotion: your new acne go-to

It's not quite magic potion...but it's pretty close.

Sick of gigantic, unsightly breakouts that just won’t seem to go away? Yeah, so are we. We’ve all been there, waking up one morning to find what’s basically a whole other human growing on your forehead. Sometimes, it even brings friends.

Luckily, there’s a miracle product that might just save us all.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is a gift from the beauty and skincare gods. The mixture itself contains salicylic acid, a chemical common in most acne-fighting products, in order to help dry out and shrink any breakouts it touches. At the bottom of the bottle sits a bed of calamine lotion and sulfur, designed to calm redness and inflammation brought on by our unwelcome guests.

You’ll notice that the ingredients naturally separate, this is all just due to density, but there’s no need to shake the bottle before application. To use, stick a Q-tip right into the bottle until you get the amount of calamine and sulfur mixture desired. Then, just dab onto any pimples on clean skin, go to bed, and they’ll shrink and disappear by morning.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, 17$ Ulta Cosmetics

I know $17 a bottle for one fluid ounce of product may seem like too luxurious of an item to splurge on, but this little bottle goes a very long way. One Q-Tip dip will usually give me enough product to dab on to four or five of those suckers. On average, a bottle can last me almost six months. This drying lotion has saved me from nearly every skin emergency I've had since I bought it and it’s the skin care product I constantly recommend. Click here to get your own!

Mario Badescu really has my back (and forehead and chin and nose) with this one, and he’ll have yours too. Buy a bottle of this miracle goop here!
